Let's Clear the Air
In 1995, a coalition of over 300 businesses, local governments, environmental and health advocacy groups in northeastern Illinois and northwest Indiana joined together to form Partners for Clean Air. As part of the coalition, the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (formerly known as CATS) and Council of Mayors helped develop a public education curriculum to combat the region's ozone problem through voluntary action. This video, "Let's Clear the Air", was created as part of this public education campaign. You can find out more information about the region's air quality by visiting the Partners for Clean Air website: http://www.cleantheair.org.
