Advanced Identification of Wetlands
A Study of the Location and Quality of
Kane County's Wetlands, Streams, and Lakes

With funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and assistance from the Northeastern Ilinois Planning Commission, the County of Kane is embarking on a multi-year study of the streams, wetlands, and lakes of Kane County.  The purpose of this study is to identify the location and quality of the wetlands of Kane County and to develop wetland protection strategies.
