The Kane County Public Defender Volunteer Internship Program provides an opportunity for both college and law school students to work in the Public Defender's Office.
Intern law students may be assigned to a designated attorney or to one of the following office divisions:
Senior law students who qualify for a liense under Supreme Court Rule 711 may try cases under the supervision of a licensed attorney.
All law student interns assist in Case Management, Client Relations, and Courtroom Work.
