The Kane County Public Defenderís Office has unpaid internship opportunities available for Senior Law Students who qualify under Supreme Court Rule 711. Please read Supreme Court Rule 711 to determine if you qualify. Interns receive hands-on training in court room settings, and assist in daily court proceedings, client interviews, jail visits, research and writing, and administrative work. Internships are available in the felony, misdemeanor and juvenile divisions.
